2016 will be a very exciting year for the Cassandra Learning Centre, we have now settled into our very grand and very large new premises in South London. This is an opportunity to show you around and introduce you to our staff and services.
We are well underway in the process of developing a state of the art hub, offering a wide range of services for Londoners. As you know we work with female and male clients from any borough who are both victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse. (Please see our attached pamphlet for more information about our services)
I look forward to seeing you there, we have great coffee and a great space. You are welcome to bring a colleague/friend.
Please RSVP to

Cassandra Learning Centre will be running the following:
Card making activity: A workshop to create Hand made cards for any occasion.
Art workshops encourage creativity and imagination in young people. These workshops are fun freestyle, using recycling and up-cycling various fabrics and embellishments.
This is an ideal opportunity for participants to produce handmade cards with a heartfelt personal messages through their own creativity and in their own words and interpretations.
Age group: 5 to 15 years
- Dates: 15th, 16th & 19th Feb 2016
- Times: 10 am -4 00:pm (Classes are for 3 hours).
- Cost: £10 per day per child. Concessions will be considered. (Cost Include refreshments and snack)
The workshops encourage engagement with other young people, a sense of achievement and chance to experiment making cards with materials that they may not have available at home.
Each young person will go home with their own hand made card and an activity pack to make up at home.
Ideally, it would be a fantastic opportunity for the young people to exhibit their work at the end of the workshops and gain a prize for the best card made!
Its been an amazing year and journey for Cassandra Learning Centre. In February we finally opened our doors; with two floors we are now in the position to deliver more projects and help a greater number of people. However we couldn’t have done this without the help and support of an array of people and companies.
Thank you M&G investments for the computers and printers, Oswald for the TV’s, Screwfix for your donation, Homebase for paint, Potter Perrin for the toilets and shower, Jessica Flynn, Simone Harvey from Mind over Matter boxing, Kirsty Short and Elizabeth Vines for running incredible distances to raise money for us. Not forgetting our Trustees and Volunteers for your help, support and sharing this journey with us.
